Johannesburg - Seven people were arrested in Umbilo for human trafficking and allegedly using women for prostitution, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Saturday.
Spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said police were tipped off about a house that was being used as a brothel and raided the premises on Friday afternoon.
"During the operation, five females and two men were found in the house. The key suspects, a manager and her son as well as a security guard, were charged with human trafficking and keeping a brothel," he said.
"The other four were charged with prostitution."
The suspects, aged between 22 and 60, will appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
