Pretoria - The biggest crowd ever recorded at the well-known Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria, gathered on Saturday to listen to farmer and preacher Angus Buchan.
There were an estimated 70 000 people.
Buchan called on the crowd "to believe, to confess their sins, to stop sinning and to forgive one another".
Instead of the usual rugby cheers, the stadium on Saturday resounded with "hallelujah" and "amen".
"We are in for an experience today," noted one man as he entered the stadium.
Earlier this year, Buchan's Mighty Men gathering on his farm near Greytown, attracted 60 000 people.
"Without faith we won't make it. Through Christ, everything is possible. The future of South Africa is in the hands of believers," said Buchan.
He also said the biggest sin was not believing.
He asked people to turn over a new leaf.
"The old person is critical and speaks negatively about our country. Some people are so negative that the devil needs to do no work".
Buchan commented on the size of the crowd, saying it was a miracle and calling it "historic".
He asked people to forgive one another and especially asked older people to leave the past behind.
