ANC: Control Jub Jub protesters

Johannesburg - The ANC called on adults to control the pupils protesting in Soweto against murder accused hip hop star Jub Jub.
"In Soweto, where four learners were allegedly killed by two reckless drivers the previous week, we urge parents, educators and the community at large to reign (sic) over our learners and let them go back to class.
ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu said the party had "full confidence" in the criminal justice system.
"They (the pupils) must allow the law to take its course without any hindrance."
Gauteng police said on Saturday that Jub Jub, who real name is Molemo Maarohanye, is to hire private security guards.
Jub Jub had said in court during his bail hearing that he would hire private security guards to protect his safety, said Inspector Kay Makhubela.
Jub Jub's dad's business quiet
Jub Jub and his co-accused, Themba Tshabalala, have been charged with murder following the deaths of four learners on March 8, allegedly after the two were drag racing.
Protesting students have promised to kill Jub Jub and burn the homes of his close family members.
Makhubela said that police were patrolling the area of Protea Glenn on Saturday, in particular around the area of a butchery and grocery owned by Jub Jub's father.
"The business is open, it's operating. It's very quiet.
"We had these threats and we're taking them seriously," said Makhubela.
Service delivery protests
The business had been attacked with rocks by rioting students on Friday.
Meanwhile, Mthembu said the ANC also urged people disgruntled with service delivery to stop taking part in violent protests.
"We...call for the immediate end of destruction of public property, the burning and damaging of cars and the attack of Councillor's houses at Ogies, in Emalahleni Municipality, and Evender at the Govan Mbeki Municipality both in Mpumalanga and all other areas where there are violent protest actions."
On Saturday, protest action spread throughout parts of Mpumulanga with municipal buildings being set alight, roads being barricaded, cars stoned and set on fire.
