Johannesburg - Naboomspruit residents should help the police find the killers of three children, the ANC in Limpopo said on Thursday.
"We strongly rebuke this heartless act and want to call on community members to assist the police in their investigations, and ensure that the manhunt never ceases until the perpetrators are brought to book," Limpopo legislature member Lehlogonolo Masoga said in a statement.
The bodies of 9-year-old Bafana Kekana, Hosea Richard Kekana, 10, and Johana Kekana, 12, were found in Naboomspruit on Saturday.
Their hands and feet had been tied with shoelaces.
The girl had been raped, according to police.
The children were last seen on 15 August during a march to demand more teachers at their school, Dikobo Primary.
The three lived at the Montadi Youth Care Centre.
Bafana and Hosea were brothers.
