Sewiya, the 27-year-old Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot dead at a house in Vosloorus at around 8pm on Sunday.

Captain of both club and country, Meyiwa played for Orlando Pirates on Saturday at Orlando stadium in their Telkom Knockout 4-1 quarterfinal win over Ajax Cape Town.

Mulaudzi was killed when his car overturned on the R555 in Mpumalanga while he was travelling from Ogies towards Emalahleni on Friday morning.

Mulaudzi overcame an injury to win a gold medal in the 800 metre race at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Germany.
