Ficksburg - Two men, both accused of adultery, were killed in separate incidents on a farm in Ficksburg this week, police reported on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Motarafi Ntepe said a man died in hospital on Monday after being stabbed on Saturday by a man accusing him of having an affair with his wife. A 54-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested, said Ntepe.
Also on Monday, on the same farm, a woman allegedly stabbed her husband in the chest with a nail clipper, after finding him talking to his girlfriend.
He died on the scene, but his girlfriend ran away and was not injured, said Ntepe.
Ntepe said that both jealous spouses would appear in court on Wednesday on charges of murder.
