Cape Town - Businessman Glenn Agliotti was robbed of more than R400 000 in March, the Wynberg Magistrate's Court in Johannesburg heard on Tuesday.
The Star newspaper reported that Agliotti was testifying in the trial of three men who allegedly robbed and attacked him and his family in their home on March 5.
The men are Selby Khumalo, 28, Vincent Ditlhase, 30, and Mncedisi Makamo, 25.
Agliotti himself is on trial for the murder of mining magnate Brett Kebble.
According to the charge sheet in the robbery case, at least four watches were stolen from Agliotti, including a R170 000 Rolex and a R75 000 Frank Muller watch, the newspaper reported.
Agliotti said he lost over R400 000 and his car in the robbery, during which he was pistol whipped and tied up.
Family present
His fiancé, Lani Kyprianides, was molested and the robbers urinated over both of them and his 17-year-old daughter.
Agliotti's ex-wife Vivian, who was at the house at the time, was also tied up and gagged.
The newspaper reported that Agliotti had been under house arrest and that according to him, the Scorpions were monitoring him closely.
He told the court the first person he called was Andrew Leask, a Scorpions member. The Scorpions were the first to arrive at his home followed by the police.
The three accused face charges of armed robbery and indecent assault. They were arrested on April 26 and 27.
