All quiet in Malema hometown

2012-03-02 07:39

Polokwane - Police were monitoring ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema's hometown of Seshego on Friday following clashes between his supporters and detractors, Limpopo police said.

"Everything is all quiet this morning," said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.

"The [police] car will be stationed outside the [Malema] home until the situation is deemed calm."

A private security company also maintained a presence outside the house, where several shots were fired in the early hours of Thursday.

Clashes between the two groups erupted after news of Malema's expulsion from the African National Congress.

Mulaudzi said no arrests had been made.

Malema was found guilty of sowing divisions in the party and of bringing the organisation into disrepute.

Can the media please start focussing on actual news and important things PLEASE! There are people who ARE suffering and situations that need reporting on. This overweight cry-bab is NOT one of them.

Dear Compatriots from Seshego, You made many South African's proud to see about your decision to oposse Sello Malema as the most controversial head of the ANC's youth league in a history of African National Congress.

From now on it will always be quiet in malematown. It is not news-worthy anymore. Move on and leave little malematjie to his cats and knitting.
