Allandale off-ramps closed

Johannesburg - The Allandale off-ramps on the M1 highway have been closed due to construction, Johannesburg Metro Police said on Saturday.

"As a result of the closure on both sides of the highway, motorists are advised to use the R55 if travelling between Pretoria and Kyalami," Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

Traffic was also heavily backed up along Old Pretoria Road.

"To ease this congestion, motorists are advised to use alternate routes," he said.
