Alleged Johan Kotze accomplice nabbed
Johannesburg - A 42-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for the gruesome assault on a Modimolle woman, Limpopo police said.
Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the man was arrested in Makapanstad near Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.
He was one of three men wanted in the attack allegedly orchestrated by fugitive Johan Kotzé on his estranged wife.
"The suspect is expected to appear before the Modimolle Magistrate's Court on Friday pending further police investigations."
He said the police recovered Kotzé's Toyota Fortuner in Modimolle on Tuesday night.
Kotzé is on the run after the assault on his wife and allegedly killing his teenage stepson in Modimolle.
"A team of investigators, with the assistance of a police helicopter, are combing the area where the vehicle was found abandoned."
Police investigations were at an advanced and sensitive stage and more arrests were imminent, said Mulaudzi.
