Johannesburg - The case against a woman accused of defrauding 11 job seekers was postponed in the Thabamoopo Magistrate's Court on Monday, Limpopo police said.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said the case against 53-year-old Bertinah Mabatamela was postponed to March 6 for a formal bail application.

She was arrested on Friday after she allegedly defrauded 11 job seekers of R1 000 each. Matabamela told the job seekers she worked for the local agriculture department, and that they needed to pay her to get jobs.
