Angry residents face arrest

Johannesburg - Gauteng police commissioner Perumal Naidoo warned an angry Eldorado Park community protesting at the local police station on Saturday to "go home" or "face arrest".
Naidoo arrived amidst violent protests outside the police station over the death of six-year-old Gairoenisha Ganchi.
"Go home. Whoever is resisting arrest will be arrested," Naidoo warned.
Earlier in the day residents handed over a man, who they believed killed the girl, to police. They told a Sapa reporter that the man, who was "well known to the girl's family", was injured while being apprehended.
Police did not want to confirm reports that he had been taken to hospital.
Earlier, police fired rubber bullets and stun grenades in an attempt to disperse the crowd which threw bottles and stones at them.
More than 10 people were arrested and several others injured. Hundreds of people outside the police station chanted words like "We want justice".
Tyres were set alight in Buckingham road near the police station.
After several warnings by the commissioner, the crowd refused to disperse.
Ganchi went missing on Thursday and her body was found close to her home on Friday morning. She was buried on Friday afternoon.
