Baby kidnapped in Dbn suburb

Durban - A one-week-old baby was kidnapped in Durban's Pinetown suburb, police said on Tuesday.
Inspector Solomon Mbhele said the 27-year-old mother had alighted from a taxi in Hill Street on Monday when the incident took place.
The mother wanted to go to a public toilet and left the baby in the care of an unknown elderly woman.
"When she returned from the toilet, the woman and her baby were gone," said Mbhele.
The woman was seen wearing a khaki skirt and the baby was wrapped in a brown blanket.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pinetown police.
A case of kidnapping is being investigated.
