Baby thrown into pit toilet then burnt

2011-06-07 12:05

Polokwane - A 32-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the death of her baby in Sekgosese, Limpopo police said on Tuesday.

"The 14-month-old baby girl was allegedly thrown alive into a pit toilet at Lemondokop village in Sekgosese [on Sunday]," Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said.

"It is alleged the suspect later burnt the child with papers," he said.

The charred body was discovered by police on Monday after a tip-off from a nearby resident.

Ramatseba said the mother might have been under strain as she had five other children to look after.

"Mothers who are struggling to raise their children are urged to approach relevant government departments in order to get assistance rather than resorting to the killing of their children," he said.

The woman would appear in Sekgosese Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

  • nixliguori - 2011-06-07 12:11

Seriously!!! No matter what situation you are in, what type of a monster must you be to throw your 14 month old child in to a pit and then proceed to burn it?? It makes me sick!!

      Sasha25 - 2011-06-07 12:21

"Ramatseba said the mother might have been under strain as she had five other children to look after." Is this an excuse for murdering an innocent baby? Why have so many kids if you can not manage to care for them. This just makes me so damn angry! But then again didn't julius Malema say "have more babies" He forgot to tell them please keep the babies alive! What type of women burns her baby alive???

      gees-hey - 2011-06-07 12:34

Gees sasha25 are you in love with Julius...

      Vigorous - 2011-06-07 12:43

gees-hey@ is that the best you could come up with after reading a story about a child being burnt to death!!

      Neo - 2011-06-07 12:45

Even animals put their lives in danger for their young ... this is just plain evil!!! Burn her at the stakes!!!

      Suckerz - 2011-06-07 12:49

I still maintain that executions be brought back. Strong messages need to be sent out that sh*t like this will never be tolerated. Those guilty must pay the price, and not get slapped on the wrist.

      Thangy - 2011-06-07 12:49

This is the worst really! who do we share this country with?

      barkers - 2011-06-07 12:55

@gees hey, I'm most surprised you even know how to switch a computer on, given your pathetic reply. Sasha25's comment is pertinent to this topic.

      gees-hey - 2011-06-07 12:59

@Vigorous: i could ask you the same question. my opinion stop linking politics or political figures to everything that goes wrong in SA because that what SA population is doing...

      candice.stratford - 2011-06-07 13:01

no one seems worried about the other five children!!! what the hell is she going to do to them???

      gees-hey - 2011-06-07 13:04

@barkers, I'm most surprised you even know how to switch a computer on too, given your pathetic reply.

      apie - 2011-06-07 13:08

gees-hey We must hold politicians accountable for their actions. Was Juli-arse said about breeding more and more certainly influences the illiterate. This is not rocket science, boy.

      Airborne68 - 2011-06-07 13:39

@Mucaine, that depends if the mother has given birth to an octopus or an infant of the human variety.

      mamakalami - 2011-06-07 13:50

Mucaine - when did Malema encourage blacks to have more babies (no specifics a date will do). Do you or any white family you personally know look after black kids - somehow I doubt that. If you had any love for God or human beings you would not advocate such racist vernom which is really not a solution to the current problem.

      Moi1980 - 2011-06-07 14:10

@mamakalami - when did Malema encourage blacks to have more babies (no specifics a date will do). Asking for dates is asking for specifics. FYI - I personally know of 3 white familes that have adopted a black child into their family. How many black families do you know that have adopted a white child?

      Podgette - 2011-06-07 14:16

@ Mamakalami - it was reported on 7 March 2011 - here is an extract "Malema urged a full hall at the Ehlanzeni District Municipality building on Friday to prevent the revolution from losing steam by having as many babies as possible." It is important for all the people occupying this earth to only have as many children as they can care for. Birth control in South Africa is free so therefore there shouldn't be any unwanted children! Accidents happen but then take the child to a place of safety, don't throw them away - which is a very common practice in our country with rubbish dumps, public toilets and dustbins being the places of choice. Sies, and some will say she is a human. DISGUSTING!

      Badger - 2011-06-07 14:48

@mamakalani. Why so that you can have even more?

      moiraine - 2011-06-07 14:57

@mamakalami - I know of many white people who have adopted black babies. Open your eyes when you go out in public.

      Rajty - 2011-06-07 17:47

Sasha dont make this a Julius issue- the woman is a sick bitch and she should be sterilised.

      Flinger - 2011-06-08 09:31

Eye for an eye law should apply

      Worldwise - 2011-06-09 12:01

@ Mamalakami, you got your reply from Podgette. What do you say now?

      Lorraine Ncube - 2011-06-09 13:25

@sasha, malema is nt my favourite but what has this got to do with him, surely no woman needs to be told to keep their babies alive, the woman is heartless.

      Sharkshoot - 2011-12-29 10:52

      These animals run our country.

  • Spoofed - 2011-06-07 12:12

Mothers who are struggling to raise their children are urged to approach relevant government departments in order to get assistance rather than resorting to the killing of their children," he said That should actually read: mothers who are struggling to raise their children are urged to stop having children.. Common SENSE PEOPLE!!!

      RosieV - 2011-06-07 12:19

      @ Spoofed - I agree.

      Martin du Plessis - 2011-06-07 12:24

      Faice has a point there.

      Tieneke - 2011-06-07 12:39

Agree with Spoofed. Family planning does not have to be public knowledge....If I know I can't cope with another child I must prevent it. Stop blaming other people for the mistakes one make. Time to say to women, take control of your own bodies and do what is best for yourself and the kids you already have! Then some women just never learn where babies come from.......

      saabnut - 2011-06-07 12:49

@ Mr.Faice: You are dead right- it's just that everyone is &$%^scared to say so... Savage, lawless bunch...

      william.botha - 2011-06-07 13:02

Mr.Faice, they can take birth control pills or injection, free of charge.

      Zeek - 2011-06-07 13:07

What abotu taking the approach and teach this in schools. The message for too many children and contracting AIDS is very simple.......STOP F*CKING. Close your legs and have some dignity, just say no thanks.

      Spoofed - 2011-06-07 13:13

@Mr.Facie i see where you are coming from but like others have said there is free birth control and injections available.. Take away child grants and you will see how quickly the population will stabilize again... my two cents at least

      Zeek - 2011-06-07 13:29

Agreed social grants is the biggest cause of unemployment and poverty.

      gwskywatcher - 2011-06-07 13:37

This country wastes so much money on all sorts of healthcare projects. Why do we not fund a sterilization programme to prevent people who cannot afford to look after children, from having them in the first place?

      Mr.Faice - 2011-06-07 13:50

I agree that birth controls will do the trick if she knows about them, has transport to collect them, or do they deliver?, and someone to look after the other little-ones while she is away. It's a pity however that there is no pill to avoid sexual abuse... Having said this, nothing can excuse what she did!!

      moiraine - 2011-06-07 15:01

@faice - There are lots of family planning clinics. There has been a big HIV prevention campaign as well. I would be very surprised if she didn't know about condoms at least, apart from the extremely rural areas I doubt whether there are people who dont know that family planning is available. I know of people who have gotten the Loop on the state health system, so if she couldnt go every 3 months for the pill for the reasons you mentioned, surely she can get a baby sitter once every 5 years?

      Zondo - 2011-06-07 16:30

@Spoofed, I agree with you on Family Planning, but i have to disagree on social grants issue. SGs are everywhere even in your wonderful Europe, Australia and USA. Theres absolutely no link between SGs and Population growth. SG are supposed to be your last hope, that is why they are called "Safety Nets". Even the richest might find themselves needing a safety net one day. Watch the Movie Cindarella Man (Russel Crowe) and U will understand the concept of SG.

      Kenko - 2011-06-08 10:46

Zondo, SG's in this country IS the reason so many schoolgirls fall pregnant. In developed countries, SG's are called Insurance, to which you have to contribute when the going is good and access when hard times arrive. Over here, ANYONE who has no plans of ever contributing can get the SG. Here, it is abused rather than used.

      Zondo - 2011-06-08 12:02

KENKO, ZEEK & SPOOFED and others, fyi information Social Grants were introduces in SA in 1998. according to the Demographic and Health Survey,In contrast to ur argument, teenage fertility peaked back in 1996 and since that time appears to be levelling off and even declining. moreover, the study by the HSRC reported that the direct beneficiaries of the child support grant who were teenagers is below 3 percent. Unless you back your argument with facts, i just dont buy your story.

      Willa - 2011-06-08 12:26

@Zondo: you are correct. There are social grants in other countries which btw. are available to more than just a selection of people (but I digress.) However, if you dig a bit deeper, you will find that many of these countries are now trying to either abolish these grants or cut back on the amount given and the number of people that qualify to get them due to abuse of the system, unaffordability (those on grants don't generally contribute to the tax-base), growth in unemployment etc. While in an ideal world, it would be available, but hey, in an ideal shouldn't be necessary.

      Matt - 2011-06-08 13:20

@ Zondo - Willa is right. Check the UK - the requirement to get UIF is to go to the Job Centre office 1x per 2 weeks and show a card that you filled in, "proving" 4 acts of looking for work. So you just write down "went to the shop and asked for a job, he said no" 4x per fortnight and you've "actively looked". £60.50 per week. Plus the council pays for your rent and council tax; hence there are loads of people in the UK who have never worked, they decided to rather get the social grants and do fk-all. There are 50-year-old people in the UK who have never worked...

      Zondo - 2011-06-08 14:24

@ Willa & Matt, I take your points. The problem is that EVERY policy always produces those "unintended consequences". That is why they need to be constantly reviewed. A good example is the BEE, it was meant to bridge the gap between the "haves & have nots" but it has created way too many inequalities. In my opinion we need the Social grant system in SA coz we've way too much poverty. We just need to have a very strict criteria on who we put on the system, and put mechanisms in place to help those in the system to get off the system. As I said earlier it is supposed to be our last option or a safety net. Our government got it wrong by calculating their success on the number of people they put on the system rather that a number of people they remove from the system.

  • Gorilla - 2011-06-07 12:12

"Ramatseba said the mother might have been under strain as she had five other children to look after" Maybe people should learn that before they get on their backs they should think about the consequences.

      Gorilla - 2011-06-07 13:09

Mishka? Really? I'm sure you can do better than that...

      Nunya - 2011-06-07 13:23

Oh please Mishka...what are you trying to say, that you are a bit of a wild like the wheelbarow??

      omrisho - 2011-06-07 15:25

@ sonneblom... i hear you but, it is the poor woman who carries and is left to carry the baby, it is the woman's body and she is the one that falls pregnant, take responsibility for your own body, don't expect others to do it for you because they won't... just being a realist here

      device - 2011-06-07 15:58

people generally take consequences into consideration when they feel they have something to loose. Many women in South Africa will never have decent jobs, they will never receive a decent education, they will always remain at the bottom of the social structure since they are not physically strong enough or masculine enough, wealthy enough or educated enough in a society that requires someone to be either educated, wealthy, or just plain violent in order to survive. Recognising this, the women in question are made to feel by others and themselves that they are only useful as sexual beings. There is nothing that can excuse what this women has done, but believe it or not she is the result of the problem and not the problem itself. People whose lives seem to hopeless cannot be expected to take consequences seriously.

      Grant - 2011-06-07 17:20

Oh do yourself a favour and shut up Sonneblom! If the man threw the baby down the toilet and set fire to it, he would have to take responsibility! If you are looking after 5 kids ON YOUR OWN, but somehow expect that THIS man is going to look after the 6th one, then I'm afraid you're an idiot!

  • Lindetjie - 2011-06-07 12:14

  • werner.coetzer - 2011-06-07 12:15

      Rather sterilize the men!

      Point Blank - 2011-06-07 13:39

@ke maketse, then you lay a charge at the police station. The law has changed, you don't have to be married to get payment from the father. Nevertheless, as a human being, you just don't throw your BABY into a pit and set it alight!! Holy Mother man.....

      Sonneblom1971 - 2011-06-07 14:23

@ Point Blank - Its not that easy, my son's father (we were not married) decided that he didn't want to have anything to do with us after I got pregnant. And eventhough I tried to get some form of maintenance from him it meant I would have to sit at the family court the whole day and hope and pray that I was early enough for my case to be heard (this was 12 years ago). And then get a pittance (I think at that stage the lawyer said I could ask for R250 per month)Take a whole day's leave at work for that! I decided stuff him I will raise my son without his help. And I have a beautiful well adjusted 12 year old at home. Sorry as much as the law has changed its still not as easy as you make it out to be.

      omrisho - 2011-06-07 15:30

ok so we see that sonneblom is angry at men in general... glad that you have a healthy well balanced child, you can be proud, but still would like to say that anger and hatred will eat you alive, forgiveness is the most liberating thing, it frees yourself - :)

      Grant - 2011-06-07 17:21

Excuse Sonneblom! She's all uncomfortable after burning her bra!

      Point Blank - 2011-06-07 19:30

@Sonnebloem, no where did I say it was easy but it still doesn't take away the fact that the option is available by law. Good luck with your future and I hope you find happiness. And I mean that honestly.

      Willa - 2011-06-08 12:33

@Ka maketse: then you deal with it. Assuming your scenario stands -> I am pretty sure "Mr Nice Guy" is not going to miraculously change into an uncaring monster the moment no 6 pops out. And if by some miracle you miss or ignore all the red flags (for surely they will be there) you go to the police and charge him for child support or you give the child up for adoption. Very simple really.

      Willa - 2011-06-08 12:37

@Sonneblom: and my post above is not aimed at you. I was referring to other options if you felt that you could not/didn't want to try and raise the child on your own. Killing is not an option.

  • Charlene Pretorius - 2011-06-07 12:16

Gareth Cliff was so right this morning, all people that have more than two kids are environmental terrorists....

      RuthK - 2011-06-07 12:37

And on what authority, besides his own ego does Gareth Cliff make such a statement? I have three kids.My second pregnancy was twins. We recycle, buy organic cleaning items and groceries etc... This doesn't make me an environmental terrorist. Instead of labeling people, why not take action on those that really are in the wrong and adress the real issues. I personally think Gareth Cliff is an arrogant and opinionated twat, and could not care less of what he thinks - perhaps if he actually thought about issues before he commented on them, it would be different.

      jowza - 2011-06-07 12:55

      barkers - 2011-06-07 12:59

Gareth Cliff is THE BIGGEST DICK HEAD on radio. Thinks he's very clever... NOT!! I remember him from school, although he was much younger.... once a twat always a twat!!

      Mishka - 2011-06-07 13:05

Ruth, you do not need to explain to anybody why you have three children. The amount you have is your prerogative. And who in their right mind would take anything that little Wiener (Cliff) says seriously. Overrated a-wipe.

      Zeek - 2011-06-07 13:10

He is a wanker that has opions on everything mentionable and is against everything. Mayeb he needs to have some children. We need to have more than 2 children per family otherwise we will breed ourselves into extinction. But off course some have way more than their share. Animals don't have more babies than they can feed!!!

      Spoofed - 2011-06-07 13:17

Think you guys missed the point... if you can't afford to have children you should take measures to ensure you don't have them until you can at least provide them with food, schooling and a roof over their heads. I am very sure that Ruth is able to provide for her little ones and that makes her an awesome person! not a environmental terrorist.. listen with open ears next time somebody talks and try and hear what they are saying instead of hearing only what you want to hear.

      Nunya - 2011-06-07 13:25

      Says Mishke the bunny...idiot.

      Zeek - 2011-06-07 13:27

That needs to be tought somewhere that is the point, but with social grants and leaders just doing and saying what they want. How is the youth goign to learn how to live and undertsand as majority of the country is waiting for something that has been promised.

      Sonneblom1971 - 2011-06-07 13:31

Then my hubby and I must be environmental terrorits as we have 3 kids! And happy terrorits we are! I adore my 3 boys and wouldn't give one of them away!

Coming from a radio personality who tries to make kids through a man's anus!!!

      Totman - 2011-06-07 14:03

@ Nunya. Why do you insult Mishka? She made a joke that was most probably not so well accepted by some, seeing the seriousness of the topic and she raise her opinion on Gareth Cliff.[ a public person] You on the other hand gets personal and insulting. Does it say much of yourself????? Back to the topic. I said it before and I am going to do it again. Our social structure in SA is our biggest problem. You can't apply a westernized one if your people are not educated in one. You can't give freedom to people if they do not know how to use it. I am not talking of freedom as in 1994. I am talking of giving people all the rights[decisions] while the uncontrollable bad comes with it. We need to get better systems in place. If it means tribal or religion we must do it. I believe a lot of unbelievers are now going to through their toys around, but they do not have a better system. Look at USA. It helped a lot in some of there problem communities.

      Badballie - 2011-06-07 15:20

well he might be right about that, but that doesn't make him any less of an idiot

      Werner - 2011-06-07 13:47

@Ke maketse Not it isn't, but she's referring to animals here, not human beings.

      Totman - 2011-06-07 14:12

No Ke maketse it is not. The term has a long history in SA. The old English used the term also when they were talking of the Boers, but using it does not changed anything. Bettering your social structure does. I know people gets fed-up and naturally start using terms like that when it is happening on a big scale. Giving it names is not going to change it. We are busy failing ourselves.[as a nation]

      maneki - 2011-06-07 16:22

Ke maketse, I do not consider someone who is capable of doing this to another human being anything close to human or even animal. So yes, breeding fits quite nicely.

  • AZATAR - 2011-06-07 12:21

What the hell !!! Yor how can u murder ur own child which u brought into this world. Why do such people get kids where there's so many couples thats longing to have a child of their own. It's heartsore to read such articles.

      Jenna - 2011-06-07 13:09

"Why do such people get kids" - maybe some are not people after all.

  • Oppressor - 2011-06-07 12:22

Pity Malemas mother didnt think of that.

      Jet master - 2011-06-07 12:53

      savages don't think !!!! hahahahahaha

      Spoofed - 2011-06-07 13:20

      Give that man a BELLS!

      Big Al - 2011-06-07 13:23

Maybe if Malema did not insist that toilets be enclosed this would not have happened. Get the ANCYL to knock the walls down on all toilets.

  • Martin du Plessis - 2011-06-07 12:25

Another reason why having a child should recquire some sort of COMPETENCY license like driving a car.

      apie - 2011-06-07 13:15

Correct, like anyone with an IQ of under 70 must be sterilised.

      Wayne - 2011-06-07 14:14

@apie more like 110! That would certainly solve our poverty issues

      Werner - 2011-06-07 15:19

@Wayne That's 90% of our population out for the count. But, I agree ;)

      Matt - 2011-06-08 13:29

@ Martin - hell no. Children do NOT belong to the State! Do you want YOUR child belonging to the ANC? Because that's what you're saying when you suggest a child license!

  • McDaNife - 2011-06-07 12:26

'Ramatseba said the mother might have been under strain as she had five other children to look after" What nonsense is this like someone sort of cover up for the mother. The way she killed the baby is gruesome. Shocking.

      Matimba - 2011-06-07 13:24

@McDaNife, Ramatseba is not covering up for the lady, he is just explaining the circumstances of the woman's life.Surely the lady was not supposed to have done what she did.

      Hackney - 2011-06-07 14:03

Circumstances my @ss! If people breed like rabbits, there is no circumstances. These people are so stupid. Lok its easy. You get R1000pm. You have 4 children. 1000/4=250 per child. You have 5 children. 1000/5=200 per child. O no!!! Stop Breeding, dont have the money to support 5 children!

  • goggads - 2011-06-07 12:26

“Mothers who are struggling to raise their children are urged to stop breeding more children.”

  • Lisa - 2011-06-07 12:27

What a disgusting creature you must be to do that to an innocent baby girl!!!! i hope u rot in hell you bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Illuminus - 2011-06-07 12:27

I read the article about the poor dog that was burned yesterday. All I can say that is when reading this article, that quote by Ghandi comes to mind. Parts of our society are still in the stone age. No wait, I wonder if practices like this even took place during the Stone Age!

      Colin - 2011-06-07 16:59

Not unless the Stone Age was synonomous with cruelty and infantacide.

  • Mike - 2011-06-07 12:27

These things should be sterilized after the 3rd child, and if found to be HIV pos they should be sterilized after the first. Simple solution, goddamn IDIOTS

  • Sasha25 - 2011-06-07 12:27

I struggled to get pregnant with my daughter. After 12 miscarriages, I finally managed to have my daughter but i can not have anymore kids and i would give anything to have another little angel. How come women like this who murder their babies are able to conceive and have babies everytime. If there is a god, he is not fair. Why doesn't he give babies to women who can love and provide and protect the gift he gives, instead he gives monsters like this miracles. If she did not want the baby, she should have adopted the child, there are so many women who would love to be mothers.

      Sasha25 - 2011-06-07 12:28

meant give the child up for adoption...

      Martin du Plessis - 2011-06-07 12:52

I don't know if you've been to a doctor because of this, but you're 12 miscarriges may be because of a syndrome called "Sticky blood" syndrome, where the blood is, yes, a bit more "sticky" than usual and can clog up the placenta, cutting of the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the child.

  • Pigmalion - 2011-06-07 12:27

Maybe Zooma should tell his ignorant voters that if they use condoms they will go to heaven and if they don't - straight to hell!

      Spoofed - 2011-06-07 13:22

You know.. that actually might work... 0_o

  • Anonymus - 2011-06-07 12:27

what they should include in their "culture" is a term called birth control!!

  • Nico - 2011-06-07 12:28

    Where is the father?

      Anonymus - 2011-06-07 12:31

knocking up the rest of the nation!

      Jacques - 2011-06-07 12:34

      S you forgot the SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

      Masendelakho - 2011-06-07 12:35

She probably doesnt know who the father is. Remember, she is distributing that pie freely, so it could be any man in that village

  • FaxM8 Fax - 2011-06-07 12:29

    In africa Never !!

      Kevin King - 2011-06-07 12:36

      Yip, only in Africa!

      John Wilderness - 2011-06-09 02:41

@Kevin King do you know how many Russians sell there children for the organ trade ? Do you know how many children got mowed down during the bosnian serbian war ? Racialising the situation only makes it worse for all. By time you learned that.

  • RuthK - 2011-06-07 12:31

Burn her at the stake! Witch! No, witch is too nice a word...

  • - 2011-06-07 12:31

Let this Biaatch suffer the same faith as her poor innocent child did, let her burn in hell and on earth..bloody coward

  • Cassy - 2011-06-07 12:31

Anyone, male or female, found guilty of such hideous child abuse crimes should face compulsory sterilization. They should never be allowed near children again. Under strain! pffft! Murder is murder!

  • illegalflowa - 2011-06-07 12:32

That no bloody excuse!!! Ever heard of contraception or hysterectomy!!! Always want, want, want!!! and never thinking further that "plat kop". Poor poor baby and absolutely no remorse for the so called Mother. Hope you burn in hell and all your children are taken away from you and placed somewhere else in a loving home!!

  • keithy - 2011-06-07 12:33

    No excuse!!! hang the cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • carenb1 - 2011-06-07 12:33

Sterilize an again sterilize limit 2 children.

  • aluwaninone - 2011-06-07 12:34

How do u set fire in a pit toilet with papers?? its either the reporter lied in this article or this woman is super-stupid!!

      Martin du Plessis - 2011-06-07 12:53

I'm assuming she took the child out again to burn it.

  • keithy - 2011-06-07 12:34

Anyone who tries to make excuses for this sub-human creature should be hung too!!!

  • Coconut - 2011-06-07 12:35

What is up with these people, or I should rather say lunatics, not even animals go this low. What does she expect, if you screw around you are going to fall pregnant. Now they say that people who cannot afford to support there children must seek government/tax payers support, what BS. This type of behaviour comes from the ANC's old strategy that they MUST breed and breed some more and more again so that they, the ANC, can keep them uneducated and in the dark.

  • nateco - 2011-06-07 12:37

If u receive a child support grant, it should come with a mandatory contraceptive injection every month. If you not responsible then your right to breed should be taken away!

  • Currie_Mafia - 2011-06-07 12:38

Pay women to be sterilised instead of paying them to have babies !!! This wowan is a monster, Not a mother !!! Stop this "Follow the breeder" crap !!!

  • Baas-Julius - 2011-06-07 12:38

    Not human!

  • PIET VENTER - 2011-06-07 12:38

    4 TO GO........

  • Colin - 2011-06-07 12:39

WTF!?!?!?! You have to be kidding me! Have children now become disposable items?? If she spent less time f@cking and more time working she would be able to support her children!!

      Lindetjie - 2011-06-07 14:47

Earning a living has a different meaning to people like this bitch. She would rather get free handouts, the more kids the more welfare she gets - if she is declared "insane" she will also get a disability allowance.

  • Michelle - 2011-06-07 12:40

Why have children when you can't afford it ? 5 children, I mean ...

  • adinek - 2011-06-07 12:41

ai, hierdie storie maak my hartseer. kan die regering nie maar eerder mense betaal om hulself te steriliseer in plaas daarvan om hulle 'monthly grant' te gee vir die kinders wat hulle wel kry nie?

  • Ingie - 2011-06-07 12:41

Sick..why bother falling pregnant when you are going to become a sad. Maybe its better for the child as who would want to be the child of a mother that can do this.

  • Colin - 2011-06-07 12:42

If she spent less time shagging and more time working she would be able to support her kids!! Are children now disposable items???

  • Buck - 2011-06-07 12:44

WTF is up with Limpopo! Yesterday, its Malema's cousin defrauding the provincial government, today it's a mother (if you can call her that) killing her own child. What sort of people (if you can call them that) live there??

      Martin du Plessis - 2011-06-07 12:55

      Mgayi - 2011-06-07 14:19

@buck The boeremag sort live there

  • Kubes - 2011-06-07 12:44

Fcken Pathetic man!!!! Sentence this fker to life.

  • Ann - 2011-06-07 12:44

Monster in the truest sense of the word! Bring back severe punishment for people such as this and sterilisation for those who do not value life.

  • Ryan77 - 2011-06-07 12:45

      Lindetjie - 2011-06-07 14:51

I really wish communities would react to crimes like this, like they do in other African countries - maybe then "people" will think twice before they act. People with HIV/Aids get ostracized from their families - what about criminals????

  • Ross - 2011-06-07 12:45

Hell!! Cattle, Dogs, Frogs, Monkeys and now Children. What sort of people/Savages inhabit this so called country? Please help.

      Spoofed - 2011-06-07 13:27

  • nws - 2011-06-07 12:45

thank you malema for urging people to make more babies
