Johannesburg - A man accused of stealing cellular phones was granted R1 000 bail by the Mankweng Magistrate's Court, Limpopo police said on Tuesday.

Lebogang Gillard Sedutla, 26, appeared in court on Monday, Constable Moses Molepo said in a statement.

The matter was postponed until March 06 for further investigation.

Sedutla was arrested early on Sunday morning after he allegedly broke into a clothing shop and stole cellphones and cellphone accessories.

Police recovered R500 000 worth of goods.

Molepo said there was a possibility that others were involved.
