Bakkie, truck collide - two killed

Johannesburg - Two people died when a bakkie and a light delivery truck collided in Hartebeesfontein on Thursday, North West police said.

Captain Adele Myburgh said a white Isuzu bakkie failed to stop at an intersection and drove into a light delivery truck.

The driver of the bakkie died at the scene. One of the two passengers travelling in the loading bin died on his way to hospital. The other passenger was critically injured.

A passenger in the truck was critically injured and the driver was slightly injured.
