Barbie just wants privacy

Pretoria - "Leave me in peace," Cezanne Prinsloo, better known as Advocate Barbie answered when being questioned about why she had earlier agreed to testify against her live-in lover Dirk Prinsloo.
"All is well between Dirk and I. Grant me my privacy," Prinsloo's legal counsel Bertus Roux said on behalf of his client.
She has meanwhile changed her dark blonde hair to purple.
Roux says Cezanne wants to get the unpleasantness of her and her lover's trial in the Pretoria regional court behind her "once and for all".
They are charged with indecent assault and possession of child pornography. More charges are likely to be brought against them as the trial progresses.
"The law has to take its course so that she can regain her privacy," Roux said.
He said Prinsloo has decided to use her lover's name in favour of her maiden name, Visser, after they communicated on February 14 for the first time since December 24.
On February 14 the couple asked for a bail condition prohibiting them from contacting each other to be overturned.
She ended her previous lawyer Ren Oosthuizen's mandate on February 17. Oosthuizen is her mother's legal counsel.
This followed a week after she had instructed Oosthuizen to refuse Dirk Prinsloo's request that they should talk.
Oosthuizen argued she did not want to converse with Dirk Prinsloo and that he called her mother up to 14 times a day.
Roux said on Friday Prinsloo would "definitely" not turn state witness and testify against her lover, although she had offered to do so earlier.
"We are confident that justice will be done and that she has nothing to fear about the upcoming trial," Roux said.
He added the couple loved each other and were working hard at their relationship.
