All vehicles should think about other road users, not just one lot! I get goosebumps sometimes when I see how some of the bikers drive!!!

Look I'm a Biker too, and the context of the situation is unknown. But bikes should THINK TRUCK, CAR, actually ROAD IDIOT in general. Hope the dude's okay... stay safe on the roads brothers.

I'm also a Biker and my riding strategy is to always ask myself "what is the most ridiculous thing the Cager might possibly do...and be ready for it" Hope you get well soon bro

in my experience as a motorcycle commuter, for 4 years now, trucks and taxis have been more curtious than cars. As Elex said, without context a fair comment is not possible.

The biker in this story is my wife's nephew. We still don't have any further details about the accident, but he's awake and has been since the accident and the reported has described his condition pretty acurate.

Just to share with you all.....every morning after six on the N2 between Doonside and Durban we observe bikers that uses motorists as chicanes to get their way! The irony of it all is that the bikes do not have number plates.....so please....do not come with this 'think bike' statement when we have bikers that break the rules of the road blatantly. Who will pay the Medical costs if they collide with another vehicle? Themselves or the motorist! Please answer me that question and don't say that they are the exception!
