Biker dragged 17m, dies

Johannesburg - A 36-year-old man was killed when he fell off his motorcycle and was hit by a car in Boksburg, said Ekurhuleni metro police on Sunday.
Inspector Jimmy Maboko said the man lost control of his bike on a bridge on Campbell road.
"He fell and was hit by a BMW travelling in the opposite direction."
The car dragged the motorcycle for 17m before coming to a stop.
The biker died at the accident.
Maboko said the 36-year-old BMW driver was not injured.
A case of culpable homicide was being investigated.
Bike went 'flying past'
Meanwhile, in another accident involving a motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man died when his bike crashed into a fence on Kromdraai road north west of Johannesburg, said paramedics on Sunday.
Netcare 911 spokesman Trevor Putterill the biker was going on a breakfast run when the accident happened at 12.08.
"One witness described the motorbike as 'flying past' saying that he (motorcyclist) was definitely not going slowly."
The biker died at the accident.
Putterill said: "We appeal to those motorcyclists going on breakfast runs to drive responsibly as incidents involving motorbikes in these runs are happening almost every weekend."
