Biker seriously injured in crash

Durban – A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after he crashed into the side of a car in Abrahamskraal Road in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said paramedics received a call for a motorcycle crash during the afternoon.

“Reports from the scene indicated that the motorcyclist collided into the side of the car. Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker lying on the roadway with serious injuries. Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the man and after he was immobilised on a trauma board, they transported him to a local hospital.”
