Port Elizabeth - Two pub bouncers will appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court on charges of attempted murder, the SABC reported on Friday.
Police spokesperson Sandra Janse van Rensburg said the two bouncers allegedly hit a customer after he knocked an ashtray off a bar counter.
Van Rensburg said when 23-year-old Nathan Miller knocked off the ashtray, the bouncers asked him to leave.
When Miller refused, the bouncers allegedly threw him down the stairs.
Van Rensburg said Miller was in high care in the Greenacres Hospital.
The two bouncers would appear in court on Monday.
