Johannesburg - A schoolboy was stabbed to death by a fellow pupil after an argument at a school in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga police said on Tuesday.
Captain Mamsy Cibe said a 17-year-old boy was stabbed by an 18-year-old at Senzangakhona High School in Mandela village around 14:00 on Monday.
Cibe said: "Apparently they were fighting in (a) tavern in the area on Sunday and the fight continued at school.
"The suspect ran away after stabbing the victim but he was later brought to the police station by his two brothers."
The victim died on the scene.
The 18-year-old boy was charged with murder and is expected to appear before the KwaMhlanga Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
