Zeerust - North West police on Tuesday were still searching for three boys who disappeared in a forest in Driefontein on Saturday.
Kutlwano Morebodi, 11, went missing on Saturday along with two brothers, Oageng Monageng, 12, and Mothusi Monageng, six, who has asthma.
Initial reports suggested that seven boys went into the forest. Four returned, leaving the other three looking for wild fruit. The three have not come home.
Happy Morebodi, father of Kutlwano, complained that after the boys were reported missing on Saturday police came to his house, but said they would start the search only on Sunday.
Morebodi said he was not satisfied with the speed with which the search was being handled and said police were not doing enough to find the boys.
However, inspector Elias Phakedi said police were doing everything in their power to find the boys and bring them home safely, although heavy rain had been a deterrent.
Phakedi said police started the search for the boys on Saturday when they were reported missing.
"On Monday, we were joined by the Rustenburg public-order unit to intensify the search and we're still continuing," said Phakedi.
