Rustenburg - One of the three women killed in a car crash near Rustenburg in the North West on Monday was a British tourist, SABC radio news reported on Thursday.
The bodies had apparently been lying unclaimed in a Phokeng mortuary since the accident.
The four-vehicle car crash occurred late on Monday night when a Toyota Conquest lost control after being hit by a truck. The driver and two passengers in the Conquest were killed immediately, but no one else was seriously harmed.
The other two deceased were reportedly from Limpopo province.
Police said more information would be released when it became available.
