Johannesburg - A man was jailed for 18 years by the Vryheid Regional Court on Tuesday for raping his 12-year-old sister, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

KwaZulu-Natal provincial police commissioner Mmamonnye Ngobeni said the sentence would send a strong message to criminals targeting women and children.
