Brothers killed in KwaZulu-Natal crash

Johannesburg - Two brothers were killed and another injured when their bakkie landed in a river near Pietermaritzburg on Sunday, paramedics said.

ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said the bakkie left the road, rolled down an embankment off Curry’s Post before landing in the river on Sunday morning.

"Two brothers, in their 20s, sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on the scene while their younger brother was taken to the Northdale Hospital with suspected neck and back injuries."

    Quite regrettable loss of life involving the youth, traffic police must try and be more visible on our roads to ensure motorists behave appropriately on the roads in order to curtail this high and avoidable loss of life

    the sadest news ever, i have been told that the third son has since passed away aswell. I'm left speachless at this tragic incident! My heart goes out to the parents and family of the deceased, and i pray that they have the strenght to deal with the most tragic loss of three children in one accident! May GOD be with you during your time of bereavement!
