Cape Town - Two cars belonging to members of Cape Town's city police were broken into while their owners were patrolling the beach at Gordon's Bay, police said.
Inspector Janine Cloete of the Gordon's Bay police said the cars had been in the traffic department's parking lot in the village.
A radio cassette player, a wallet with R50 in it, shoes, a raincoat and other clothing, and a canister of pepper spray were taken from the two vehicles.
