Johannesburg - Water supply will be disrupted in Bishop Lavis on the Cape flats on Thursday, the City of Cape Town said.
In a statement on Wednesday, the City said residents could expect low water pressure and in some areas no water between 10:00 and 15:00 on Thursday.
The disruption was for repairs to take place on a valve in the pipeline that supplied water to the suburb.
"Residents are urged to ensure that they store a supply of water to see them through this period," the City said.
There could also be a temporary discoloration of the water once the supply was restored.
The City asked residents to make sure all taps opened during the interruption in supply were closed again as wastage would occur once supply was restored, and residents would be billed.
"City Water Services regrets any inconvenience caused," it said.
