Cake tins found full of drugs

Johannesburg - Cake tins full of drugs and sports bags full of money are what director Piet Byleveld and his special investigation team found when they searched a Bosmont house.
Byleveld and his team, together with the Johannesburg dog unit, found the cache on Monday night when they searched a house at about 20:30 in Pappegaaiberg Avenue in western Johannesburg.
A 40-year-old man was detained.
The drugs had a street value of about R40 000 and the sports bags held about R500 000 in cash.
CAT, tik, LSD and dagga were found as well a machine gun with a silencer and rounds of ammunition.
The man was expected to appear in Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Wednesday morning on charges of drug dealing.
