Cape Town pedestrian killed
Cape Town - An unidentified man was knocked over and killed in Woodlands, Cape Town, Western Cape police said on Monday.
Captain Frederick van Wyk said police were told of a body lying in Eisleben road after midnight on Sunday.
The man, about 50 years of age, suffered a broken right leg and injuries to his face. He was wearing black trousers, a grey jersey, black shoes, and white socks.
The driver of the vehicle that knocked him down could not be found.
