Cape Town penthouse sold for R55m

Cape Town - The last of three luxurious Cape Town penthouses has been sold to a Nigerian businessman for R55m, the Sunday Times reports.
After the final sale, the three properties, located on the top floors of the five-star One and Only Hotel, now have a combined value of R228m.
The sale of the second penthouse was registered last week. The property was sold as an empty shell, with a private lift, glass-encased bedroom suites, and a private terrace and swimming pool.
"It is expected to be valued at almost R90m upon completion," Seeff Atlantic Seaboard managing director Ian Slot told the newspaper.
The first penthouse sold for R110m in 2008.
