Cape Town - Two men died and six were injured when their car rolled at Bofors Circle in Epping, in the Western Cape, on Friday night, said paramedics.

The driver lost control of the Toyota Conquest, it rolled and crashed through a wire fence, said ER 24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson.

One of the occupants was dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. A second died after unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate him, she said.

Of the injured, one was critically hurt, two were seriously hurt and three sustained minor injuries.

They were taken to hospitals in the area, said Jackson.
