Car hits schoolgirl

Durban - A schoolgirl was critically injured when she was hit by a car while crossing South Coast Road, in Merewent, Durban, on Tuesday morning, paramedics said.

The child, about six-years-old, had numerous injuries, including a broken leg, ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said.

She was taken to a local hospital.

    I hope you make a full recovery little one. Just today our local rag has reported on the fact that parents (nogal) are ignoring safety regulations put in place at a local school to protect kids crossing the road.
