Johannesburg - Alleged serial rapist Fanwell Khumalo did not quite manage to rape her, a young girl testified him in the Johannesburg High Court on Tuesday.
Khumalo, 41, a chef, has pleaded not guilty to 132 charges, claiming mistaken identity.
The girl said she knew what was happening when Khumalo attacked her because she had received sex education at school.
She is the second last of 42 victims to testify against the Khumalo.
The girl said he raped her cousin and then tried to do the same to her but did not quite manage it.
This was in February 2001, when she was in primary school.
She and her cousin were on the way to buy chips when they were stopped by a man claiming to be a policeman.
"I believed him because he was dressed all in navy blue."
He told her he wanted to ask them some questions, then grabbed each of them by the hand and told them that if they screamed he would throw them into the back of a passing police car in which were three German Shepherd dogs.
The witness told the court that she did not look while her cousin was raped, but "heard the piece of cardboard (on which the alleged rapist and her cousin were lying) jumping".
The trial continues.
