Child killed on Pietermaritzburg freeway

Johannesburg - A child was killed when a car hit her on the N3 freeway near the Marian Hill toll plaza in Pietermaritzburg on Monday afternoon, paramedics said.

The child, estimated to be aged between five and six, was hit while crossing the busy road, ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said.

"Her body was found on the fast lane with massive trauma and a group of people had gathered around her.

"We don't know if the people were her family."

    The parents of this child should be arrested and charged with neglect. Either no value was placed on her life or her parents are deductated imbeciels. Some people do not deserve to have children.
