Durban - The case against a Russian couple charged with the production of child pornography and indecent assault involving their children was adjourned in the Durban magistrate's court ON Monday for further investigation, SABC news reported.
The case will resume on December 1, the broadcaster said.
Police were still viewing videotapes confiscated from the couple's Bluff home in August this year.
Police were also investigating the father's chandlery and whether there may be links to any organised child pornography networks.
The couple were released on bail last week after they appealed in the Durban High Court against a magistrate's court decision to deny them bail.
Judge Nic van der Reyden ruled that the Russian couple who had settled in South Africa was not a flight risk.
The couple were arrested after police received information that they allegedly indecently assaulted their two children.
The Child Protection Unit raided the couple's home and allegedly confiscated 500 pornographic videos, 300 home videos, 79 DVDs, a laptop and a digital camera.
