Child rapist jailed for life

Nelspruit - A man who was caught in the act of raping a screaming four-year-old girl was jailed for life on Tuesday.
Mandla Vusi Nkosi, 25, of Barberton in Mpumalanga had pleaded guilty to rape when he appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court.
Clutching his hands together, he repeatedly asked for a second chance.
But Magistrate Andre Geldenhuys said society needed to be protected from people like Nkosi.
Nkosi, who has a four-year-old son of his own, was unable to explain why he raped the girl.
A neighbour who had heard the child crying and screaming rushed to her help.
She burst into Nkosi's house and found him on top of the girl.
Nkosi ran away but was arrested later that day while hiding in the veld.
