East London - Police have arrested two alleged cocaine dealers at their Berea home, after recovering cocaine worth more than R130 000, East London police said on Friday.

Captain Stephen Marais said police arrived at their house at 08:30 on Thursday.

"A drug dog named Ice, began searching the house and reacted to the scent of drugs in the garden," Marais said.

"Police then dug and found a cocaine ball with a weight of 76.5 grams with a street value of R133 875."

The men, aged 34 and 39, were arrested.

After being taken to the police station they tried to bribe a police official, said Marais.

"They tried to give the officer R5 000 in order for him to release them. The officer played along, and the two were then arrested for bribery."

Both are believed to be Nigerian nationals, he said.
