Contraband cigarettes seized in Limpopo

2012-07-12 21:01

Johannesburg - Contraband cigarettes with a street value of about R200 000 have been seized in northern Limpopo, police said on Thursday.

Lieutenant Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said occupants of a Toyota double-cab bakkie ignored police orders to pull over on the road between Tshivaloni and Tshipise on Wednesday.

A chase ensued and the vehicle was later found abandoned, still idling.

Cartons of the contraband cigarettes were in the vehicle. The occupants were still at large.

    1. WHAT type of cigarettes? 2. Who has them now? 3. Will the police sell them? or, 4. Will they destroy them? 5. If they destroy them, please post the video so that we can ALL see what happens to them. 6. WHERE do they come from and who manufactures them? THIS is what we want to know, please!
