Johannesburg - Four men, including two policemen, appeared in the Atamelang Magistrate's Court on Wednesday in connection with a spate of business and house robberies in the Atamelang area, North West police said.
Lieutenant-Colonel Lesego Metsi said they were granted bail of R1 000 each. The case was postponed to April 26 for further investigation.
The four were arrested in Atamelang on Tuesday, following a police investigation that began in December into robberies in Atamelang, Delareyville and Setlagole.
The two policemen, Michael Nkatlo, 27, and Tshepiso Temane, 24, and their co-accused, Tebogo Buys, 27, and Tebogo Motaung, 34, face charges of business robbery, house breaking and house robbery.
