Cops arrest 2 for robbery

Johannesburg - Two men were arrested for a robbery in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni metro police said on Sunday.
Spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said on Friday night metro police patrolling near Leeuwpoort road were approached by a shocked and bleeding 25-year-old man who said he had been robbed.
Police spotted two men nearby who fitted his description.
They caught the men aged 23 and 31 and found them in possession of the wounded man's cellphone and wallet.
The victim was medically treated by paramedics on the scene.
A case of robbery and the possession of suspected stolen items has been opened.
The two men arrested will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate Court soon.
