Cops break up exam protesters

Rustenburg - North West police fired rubber bullets to disperse protesters after preliminary examinations were disrupted in Lethabong near Rustenburg on Thursday.

Rethusegile High School pupils went to Iketletso High School and allegedly forced Grade 12 pupils to stop writing their exams.

Two pupils were stabbed when exam papers were grabbed from their hands. They were taken to a local clinic.

Police were called in and used rubber bullets to disperse students.

A large police contingent was at Iketletso High School.
