Cops raid tik factory

Cape Town - Western Cape police arrested three Chinese nationals for allegedly manufacturing the drug tik and seized R4m worth of the drug, police said on Tuesday.
A 36-year-old man was arrested at his home in Somerset West, while two others, aged 33 and 31, were arrested at their home in Plattekloof on Monday afternoon, Superintendent Riaan Pool said.
Chemicals used to manufacture tik were found at the Plattekloof home. Ten kilograms of the drug, estimated to be worth R4m were confiscated.
The three will remain in custody until their court appearance later this week.
