Pretoria - A rightwinger who took pictures of detectives at the Boeremag treason trial on Monday had his film confiscated, said senior superintendent Selby Bokaba.
The man, described by Bokaba as an associate of a Boeremag member, was taken in for questioning because he was not part of the media.
"He obviously had some purpose for photographing crime intelligence officials and senior detectives at the court," said Bokaba.
The rightwinger was not charged, but his film was seized.
"We will return his camera," Bokaba said.
Police management last week asked media covering the trial to limit the number of pictures published of police investigators involved in the case.
