Johannesburg - A couple was arrested after a variety of drugs were recovered at their Katlehong home on Wednesday, Ekurhuleni metro police said.

Sixty-nine packets of a drug called Taiwan, 25 packets of cocaine, and a packet of dagga, all with an estimated street value of R6 000, were found during the raid, spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said.

"Police were following a tip-off when they raided the couple's house and a backyard shack at Marutle Street."

A 36-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested. They were expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court soon on charges of possession of illegal substances and dealing in drugs.

Yeah... Awesome... 6000 bucks worth of dope... Probably cost R100000 just to start the police siren on their van, but hey, the law says that they are criminals, and they got caught. Congratulations, good job... Keep up the awesome work... We have so much faith in you that you will do the right thing... And the list goes on, and on... And on...
