"The man, in his 30s, was believed to be a farm worker who was on his way home."

Banks said paramedics found the man lying motionless on the road.

N8 - "N" standing for "National" - Is it not illegal to ride a bicycle on a national highway?

People are les likely to be killed if they obey the rules of the road. Having said that it might have been the only route the cyclist could take to get home.

It is not illegal to ride a bicycle on an N-road. It is only illegal on throughways (i.e. certain highways in central cities). Your comment implies that you think its OK to kill someone if he does something wrong, even if that something is as innocent as riding a bicycle. Shame on you.
