DA councillor 'watched kinky porn'

2012-05-04 11:10

Cape Town - Residents of the sleepy town of Swellendam have been shocked by allegations that a local DA councillor used his office computer to view hardcore pornography.

The Daily Voice reported that a prominent DA councillor was being investigated after “explicit, hard and kinky” pornography was found on his computer.

An ANC spokesperson said the municipality’s computer was used during work hours to view the pornography.

The ANC laid a charge against the councillor, saying the DA had been trying to cover up the incident after it was reported to them.

Swellendam police confirmed that they were investigating the case.

The Cape Times reported on Friday that the Swellendam municipality has also launched an investigation.

The local MEC for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, Anton Bredell, confirmed that he had been informed of the allegations and said he viewed it in a very serious light.

WTF News friday...any straight guy will not be shocked by this ..we all do from time to time...

      Gerald - 2012-05-04 11:21

true man...there is nothing wrong with it...apart that it was during work hours...he should just be more discreet next time.

      Nosiphom - 2012-05-04 11:32

      Great comments June and Alexander!!!

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 11:34

People on this forum never cease to amaze me, thats why politicians\r\nget away with dirt in SA. Comments are predictable, just because the\r\nguy is DA all of a sudden there is nothing wrong with that, as a\r\nratepayer I wouldnt like my money to be wasted on a pervert who spends\r\ntime and money browsing pornographic material on the council pc during\r\nworking hours. This is a serious matter according to the MEC who is\r\nalso DA by the way. Can you for once stop following these narrow\r\nminded DA and ANC supporters who cant think beyond party lines. Shame\r\nto you all, in developed democracies the pervert could have submitted\r\nhis resignation a long time ago. Sies!!!!!

      MonkInsane - 2012-05-04 11:39

@Lerato Read Alexanders comment more carefully - "....apart that it was during work hours..."

      Bryan - 2012-05-04 11:39

And the problem is what?? As long as it wasnt kiddie porn then I have no issue with this!! So because you work for a political party you cant watch a 'Titty movie'.. Really WTF..!!!

      Smile - 2012-05-04 11:39

Oh please! They cannot find any real crime on the DA so they "investigate" this! Well done ANC. You just waisted a minute of my life!

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:05

@DItto If it was a ANC official he would have denied it and goten a raise! So... before you comment... I suggest you read the facts: ################################# Corruption and Incompetance Meter DA:0.5 ###VS### ANC: 999999999999 SYSTEM ERROR!!! BLUE SCREEN :(

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:07

@Lerato - It's amazing how guilible you are! Do you realy beleive the cr%p comming out of your mouth?

      Staphill - 2012-05-04 12:12

The real crime here is that he did not share his collection

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 12:14

It was planted by the NPA

      Schmee - 2012-05-04 12:16

Some people are just stupid. Don't download porn on company property. If you really need it then do it on your own pc after hours. So many guys have been caught with this and they always get fired. Don't think you can hide it from your IT department either.

      Shellerjc - 2012-05-04 12:16

i am female - and i do it

      Raj - 2012-05-04 12:21

Now, had this been an ANC Councillor, you would have called for his head

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:29

@ Raj - Have you come back for more?

      sewsexy - 2012-05-04 12:30

@Lerato - there are not that many men out there that DONT watch PORN - seriously, what world do you live in - and FYI it was his personal laptop (apparently) - what I have on my computer or laptop has nothing to do with anyone - the ANC are just grabbing at straws right now - LMFAO

      sewsexy - 2012-05-04 12:33

@Ditiro Your RACISM is showing dude - get a life!!! The problem I think most people have with this story is that surely there must be more urgent matters to attend to by the ANC than this - ie. working for the people of this country and not themselves!!!!

      Bryan - 2012-05-04 12:42

This is actually quite hilarious... It has nothing to do whether he works for the DA or the ANC or frikken disneyland for that matter!! He waqs watching a bit of porn...So frikken what!!! And my dear Lerato, seriously...You need to get laid sister! And get a life by the way:-)

      Nigel - 2012-05-04 12:43

Everybody knows that you can't watch porn on your work computer, only fools do this, fire him, its not ok just because he is DA, I would say the same if it was anybody else.

      Greg - 2012-05-04 13:04

@Lerato, your keyboard is typing a few extra characters there buddy, I think you may have a virus from some of those porn websites you been visiting...

      Greg - 2012-05-04 13:09

...and to your comment just above this Lerato...I would rather my Councillor watch porn than steal tax payers' money and get his totally unqualified mates government jobs - which is 90% of ANC Councillors as you and all of us well know is fact in this country!!

      Loo - 2012-05-04 13:24

I told them not to remove solitaire from the gov computers.. see what happened now !

      goyougoodthing - 2012-05-04 14:15

At least the DA guy knows how to turn on a computer

      Msika - 2012-05-04 14:20

Imagine if ONLY the poeple on this website were allowed to cast a vote for the National elections, I bet that Madam would be the president of this country by now, and she would have done so with a convincing 2 third majority votes. Just because this dude is a DA member, the majority of poeple here are trying so hard to save his blood. Come on poeple, if this allegations are true, this dude must face the music. Wrong is wrong, irregardles of the color of your skin or political affiliation.

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 14:41

So killing your girlfriends husband and then made chief of police is ok then

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 15:46

Want to watch this vidio, go to google earth and see SA getting scr@#ed

      MoAfrika - 2012-05-04 15:56

NOT AT WORK! I'm glad they're investigating this horny guy.

      sachasea - 2012-05-04 18:50

Hey this is Swellendam we're talking about here. It's one of the most staunchly conservative towns in the Western Cape. Their municipality has been riddled with corruption for years. What ever happened to the investigation launched into the mismanagement of the municipality by the Western Cape government after the last local elections? Still waiting to hear from them. Meanwhile the people of the Swellendam Local Municipality i.e. Swellendam, Barrydale, Suurbraak, Buffeljags, etc. have to put up with a drought of service delivery and crumbling infrastructure. Calls by the town's Ratepayers Associations have been repeatedly ignored. Such a sad state of affairs. I'm sure this scenario is commonplace in municipalities across the nation.

      Michael - 2012-05-08 12:05

Some reports say child porn; That's despicable! If proved to be true, I trust the DA makes an example of person. Put their name in a public register, under the appropriate heading.

  • Denny - 2012-05-04 11:16

.. and totally didn't share it.

      Loo - 2012-05-04 11:25

      bwahahahah good one

      Staphill - 2012-05-04 14:47

And how did they know it was kinky,.... probably copied it first.

      mundu.olewega - 2012-05-04 19:44

They knew because the Local MEC "viewed it in a very serious light", which means "he watched the porno in a dimmed room while feeling himself".

      TaniaSandraSteyn - 2012-05-05 02:46

      @ Mundu...tears running from laughing. )))))))))))))))))))))

  • Manu - 2012-05-04 11:16

    What is the crime here?

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:29

@Manu - I guess you missed the part that it was done on a municipal computer during working hours. Totally unacceptable. Disciplinary enquiry needed.

      Kala - 2012-05-04 11:36

Marion are you serious??? How many state employees sit and play solitaire all day on their work computers during office hours. The ANC steal, lose, squander billions of Rands all the time and they want something like this investigated. Give me a break!

      Peter-Peter - 2012-05-04 11:45

hahaha Kala...you just reminded me of a news morning on Enews...when the camera follows the anchor to a computer to read comments etc...low and behold, there was a employee playing it in the background

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:51

@Kala - give you a break? Are you that DA councilor? @Bloodblane - speak for yourself. When I was employed I did not use the company's computers to access the internet, much less pornography. Can't speak for my boss(es) though.

      Manu - 2012-05-04 11:51

Marion, I clearly asked "What is the crime here?" I have no difficulty understanding that this is a matter that demands disciplinary action. But why are the police involved? Surely this is an HR matter.

      Loo - 2012-05-04 11:54

      @Marion .. Live a little my girl

      Marion - 2012-05-04 12:04

@Manu - in that context you are right. It is an HR issue not a criminal issue. I read it as 'he has done nothing wrong' (as many on this site are saying). @Loo - Believe me I have lived plenty - in my own time, in my own home, etc.,

      Manu - 2012-05-04 12:22

Marion, most of the commentators here have a diminished sense of right and wrong so the comments in defence of this fellow are not surprising. An intelligent person would have quickly arrived at the conclusion that if a person in a position of leadership, a councillor, can't exercise discretion then he is not the kind of person you want leading a party. Well clearly most of those who boast of being able to recognise good leadership can't recognise it.

      Riëtte - 2012-05-04 12:31

I actually agree with Marion, porn surfing does not belong in your workplace, the company I work for has a very strong view on this and it is a dismissable offence is most companies. Yes it stupid that the ANC wants this investigated seeing how they can't even investigate fraud under their noses, but porn in the workplace is unacceptable.

      sabongam - 2012-05-04 12:53

How people never cease to amaze...If this was an ANC councillor there would have been all kinds of criticism but now that its a DA councilor its okay. Amazing how the DA always shouts from the rooftops about being rightoeus and having a "holier-than-thou" attitude but now one of their own is alleged to have done wrong then people on this forum brush this incident aside...Practice what you preach DA supporters. Don't tell people to do the right things whilst you do the opposite.

      John - 2012-05-04 13:01

leave the Guy alone, it was in SWELLEN damm after all

      Compos - 2012-05-04 13:43

At least the municipal computer was switched on for a change... In Joburg they don't watch porn because they don't switch the computers on... he he he

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 15:19

He was watching Google earth and saw SA getting screwed

  • Kala - 2012-05-04 11:16

I fail to see the importance of this investigation when the ANC should be investigated for a myriad of more serious offences.

  • richard.hipkin - 2012-05-04 11:16

I hardly think they trying to cover it up, it is an internal matter. Unlike the ANC, the DA don't run off to the media for stupid little matters like this. If he is guilty he will either be warned or fired then life goes on... Really pathetic from the ANC..

      Loo - 2012-05-04 11:24

Sounds to me that nothing was covered in any way lol

      Sean - 2012-05-05 10:35

@PointBlank , i agree 100 % ! This is pathetic ! ANC members get away with rape , murder and corruption ! Just goes to show how far the pathetic ANC is going to try and find something on DA members ! Who says he was the one looking at the porn on his computer ??

  • Loo - 2012-05-04 11:17

Well at least it wasn't Solitaire I suppose ...

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:30

Loo - and how do you know that? He may have played solitaire when he visited your name...

      Loo - 2012-05-04 11:43

tsk tsk tsk .. hate SARS not me ..

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:52

@Loo - I'm not hating you. Solitaire is a single player game, as is masturbation. Your name is Loo. Go figure.

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 11:53

@ Loo. Loo and behold no, it was rummey

  • CombiChrist - 2012-05-04 11:18

It's just a bit of poontang. Written warning should suffice.

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 11:44

      They wernt invited

  • Reon - 2012-05-04 11:20

What is \kinky porn\? Did he do it on his lunch break or before going home?

      gerry.pelser - 2012-05-04 11:28

You do not know what kinky porn is? boy, are YOU in for an adventure! ;-D

      Charles Dumbwin - 2012-05-04 11:32

Reon please, we don't really want to visualise him slapping the salami over his sandwich. that's just disgusting

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:32

@Reon - where does it say in anyone's conditions of employment that they may surf the net, at employer's expense, during lunchtime? Porn makes it even more unacceptable.

      Bryan - 2012-05-04 11:44

Who said he was masturbating kensong?? Do you have a fetish for blokes who butter the mealie??

      Fussed - 2012-05-04 11:48

BUT Who are the biggest wankers here???????

      Marion - 2012-05-04 12:06

@Bloodbane - sorry mate, you won't find anything on my work computer as I haven't worked anywhere since 2000.

  • Stirrer - 2012-05-04 11:21

"Swellendam police confirmed that they were investigating the case." 'Scuse me, exactly what is the crime here? Except of course if it's child pornography, in which case the councillor should be shot, hung, and drawn and quartered.

      sean.redmond3 - 2012-05-04 11:29

Kiddy Porn, Not good, all the rest, what is the problem, at least he did not steal a R100 mil.

  • Brett - 2012-05-04 11:25

Nothing compared to the massive theft of stste funds which is committed by the ANC on a daily basis. Goes to show how corruption free the DA is if this is the worst dirt the ANC can dig up on them.

      sean.redmond3 - 2012-05-04 11:30

What if they check the anc PC's?????

      Kala - 2012-05-04 11:40

kensong.ben.7 - pull your own head out of the sand. It probably cost the state f-all as they have uncapped bandwidth, assuming he even down loaded it. Maybe he was watching a DVD. Where are all the millions that the ANC loses everyday?

      Brett - 2012-05-04 11:53

@kensong my head may be in the sand but yours is up your ass.

      Brett - 2012-05-04 12:09

Ok then give me the reason why 30 billion rand went missing under the ANC's watch last year but nobody was held accountable.

      Brett - 2012-05-04 12:55

@kensong I didn't condone it, I compared it to the massive crime being committed by the ANC.

      Kala - 2012-05-04 14:08

kensong.ben.7 - Whats it got to do with the subject at hand. Everything. There is not a person, public or private, that does not misuse company or state resources. But to claim we should rather "Ignore a mole and deal with a mountain later some would say..." (sic) is ezactly what we're trying to say. There are far more serious problems and allegations out there, but the ANC have chosen to make a big deal of a bit of porn. I'll guarantee you its a common occurence everywhere.

  • marcus.daily3 - 2012-05-04 11:26

Heavy Stuff indeed....okay let me close off news24.com now, back to Xvideos.com

  • gerry.pelser - 2012-05-04 11:28

What’s the problem with porn? Nothing. What’s the problem with kinky porn? Nothing. (proves he has a bit of taste above the mundane, actually!) What’s the problem with hardcore, explicit, kinky porn? Still Nothing? What’s the problem with watching hardcore, explicit, kinky porn at work? Unless you’re a photographer for Hustler – quite a lot, actually. The issue here is not that the guy watched porn or not, but that he was using his office computer. Use your damn blackberry man, but don’t compromise yourself, or your party (whim I’m not the greatest fan of) in such a way. He should face the same sanction than if he was caught drinking , or sleeping, on the job. I’ve no problem with what he did – I have a problem of where, when and how he did it.

      Marion - 2012-05-04 11:54

      @Gerry - excellent comment.

  • Koos - 2012-05-04 11:28

OH MY LORD... LOL LOL LOL... Do you know how many councillor and government employees I have caught with porn! Hahahahaha.. the weirdest porn was from black secretaries to the directors. Directors had “cut” full-blown afri- porn on their laptops and that stuff is NASTY! Email mostly contain photos. Seems like managers had a tendency to duel over “white” pornographically photos..... and I still have the proof. Hahahaha come on news24... P.S. This did NOT happen in the western cape and all of them used “work” equipment and infrastructure since they were caught at work.

  • Gerhardus - 2012-05-04 11:30

Wow can you believe the ANC is making a difference in this country, today it is porn tomorrow it is littering... real proud of you guys

  • randomhero6661 - 2012-05-04 11:31

    Ah go have a w@nk!

  • Compos - 2012-05-04 11:31

The world is so unfair. This guy gets investigated for watching porn during office hours, but if Joburg screws its taxpayers during office hours it is fine. Is it because there are no cameras involved???? :-)

  • Nosiphom - 2012-05-04 11:32

How does the ANC Councillor know that the viewing happened during office hours, was he part of the viewership and now wants to score political points?

      Sango - 2012-05-04 11:44

because he was still in the office simple

  • MonkInsane - 2012-05-04 11:37

      Toofaan - 2012-05-04 12:14

I think you meant they can do the nasty that gets everyone in the poo

  • Shirley - 2012-05-04 11:42

In the greater scheme of things-corruption,fraud etc, this is just making a montain out of a porn hill! Seriously-give the guy a disciplinary hearing for wasting work hours and be done with it!If thats the worst "mis appropriated time" in the D.A. then they are sure doing a lot better than other parties!

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 11:46

Come on now, I thought DA was the most organised party, why protect such a scum. Give the guy the boot am sure if it were some ANC guy caught doing this your comments could have been otherwise. Grow out of your party biasness n think like an SA citizen. This is wrong and for you to sympathise with this make me feel sorry for your kids

      Paul - 2012-05-04 12:15

Yeh and hopefully the DA will dicipline him appropratly unlike the ANC does even when the crime is massive in comparison

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:16

@Lerato I would not give the guy a boot even if he was working for me! It's not such a big offence! A slap on the wrist is all that is needed! So STFU!

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 13:48

@Smile you are a special case, with such mentality you can not even run a public toilet. The MEC who happens to be DA has called this a serious matter and to you, the perv councillor deserves a slap on the wrist. Anyway I can't blame you, I guess you would love smacking his wrist considering what stuff he had been up to with his wrist. Go ahead am sure he would love it since he is into kinky stuff

      Shirley - 2012-05-04 14:07

Lerato: I feel sorry for the kids who go to bed hungry because some fat cat minister stole the money,or kids who cant be educated properly because of funds being channeld into personal accounts! I feel sorry for the people who have no homes because of corrupt tenders!!! You must be the only person in South Africa who has never done anything other than WORK from 8 to 5!!! He should be disciplined and there should be consequences-however judge the punishment by the crime! Grow up-its got nothing to do with the political party, rather the hysteria over his crime!!!!

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 14:16

@Shirley I also feel sorry for all the groups you have mentioned and you are worsening my burden because I have to feel sorry for people with your mentality that an offense by a member of 1 party is a non-event and only will be an event if it was from a certain party. To an extend this is corruption as well, that's misappropriation of resources, and this perv must be punished so as to gain public trust. The article states that the residents who happened to be the ratepayers are shocked by what the Perv did. If you got no problem with pervs then its your choice, but they must use their own resources.

      Shirley - 2012-05-04 14:48

Lerato:I dont know what is more perferted-6 wives or porn ! Watching porn does not make him a perv-nobody knows exactly WHAT he was watching! Do I as citizen have a choice on how many wives the president has-however perverted that is to me????????????????????????

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 15:20

He was watching kinky stuff and that's perverted! 6 wives pervert! If you start watching kinky stuff during working hours using ratepayers money that's bad.

      Lerato - 2012-05-04 18:06

@Shirley the way you are supporting this child pornography councillor one can not help but suspect you got it too

      Shirley - 2012-05-04 19:34

Lerato: Where the hell did it say child pornography??????? Typical of your type-always seeing things that arent there!!!!!!

      Lerato - 2012-05-05 21:37

My \type\ research first, I can see you are slow! The guy was watching child porn, research 1st - duh

  • charlesglass1895 - 2012-05-04 11:45

@konanani - "To watch a pony movie is what?" If the sex is with a pony it is watching buggery porn.

Koenanani!!! You talk sense!!! It's still a shame you vote for the ANC though. I think the other party's deserve you more!

      John - 2012-05-06 11:29

Marion, send me your email address, I'll send you some great porn, because after reading all your comments on this thread today, i reckon you are a frustrated old diddy.

  • Angelica - 2012-05-04 11:48

I ALSO LOOK AT PORN! There is nothing wrong with it and as far as i am concerned even Mr Zuma probly does so GET REAL we are all humans!!!!! FFS

  • Mike Purchase - 2012-05-04 11:48

      olerilwe.mosiane - 2012-05-04 12:06

      lol!!!mike-mike-mike.lol!!!u made my day boy

  • Christian J Denyschen - 2012-05-04 11:50

Ha ha has the anc run out mud to sling at the DA, i know using state equipment during work hours for any personal stuff is wrong but come on was the sapd necessary, and lastly how does the anc even know who watched what.

  • Mike Purchase - 2012-05-04 11:52

Its not state equipment its taxpayers equipment. If you people have never watched porn you lying we see it all the time, ruling party is raping everything in front of our eyes.

  • Denis - 2012-05-04 11:54

It is one thing to have a free press, quite another for the media to publish this so called story..... how N24 could allow itself to be used in the game of politcal mudslinging is very very sad!!!!! and worrying. When the report surface yesterday it seemed that someone forgot to feed this to the media on April 1ST.

  • Mike Purchase - 2012-05-04 11:54

How do you know he is white and i hope he....in your racist face.

  • olerilwe.mosiane - 2012-05-04 11:58

i wonder how DA gonna cover this up.i thought our ANC is the messy 1,but our neighbours(DA) are messier.don't worry mr concillor you're not alone, some of your comrades(DA MEMBERS) are doing it too.REMEMBER THE MADAM(ZILLE) WITH THE CABINET OF ONLY MALE SPECIES,LOL!!!I WONDER WHAT THEY DO BEHIND CLOSE DOORS

      Alfred - 2012-05-04 12:14

You're going to have to try much, MUCH harder. The current ANC scandals involve murder plots, intimidation, docket theft and the usual plethora of corruption and theft while the DA guy looked at pics of nekkid girlies on his pc. Somebody call Interpol!

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:21

@olerilwe.mosiane - So are you saying corruption, murder, rape, genocide, aids denialism is a better crime that watching porn? YES! I CAN SEE YOU ARE A ANC SUPPORTER!

      olerilwe.mosiane - 2012-05-04 12:33

@smile we've learn from the best(your forefathers apartheid regime).i could have been happy if al of those things u mentioned happened to the minority(whites)so that they can taste their own medicine but now its a pity that happens to all of us.whites do murder and rape, remember the modimolle and skierlik incidents?i rest my case

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:41

This is not about whites or black you racsist subhuman piece of s%%t. This is about ANC and it's disgusting attitude! GET YOUR FACTS SRAIGHT!

      silvia.vaneck2 - 2012-05-04 22:52

Do you want to know what Helen and her men are doing behind closed doors?? Shall I tell you?? They are working!

  • Matthew - 2012-05-04 11:59

This is so stupid and such a waste of time just because he works for the DA now he's special half the men in the world probly go on to porn at least once a day so i wouldnt be surprised or give a rats ass if this guy got seen by accident. i mean, was he leaving it on his screen for anyone walking past to see,OR was someone snooping around on his pc? "looking for dirt, didnt find any,but hey, still get this into crap for porn" And the anc going on and making a big hoo haa about this...thats just pathetic.really sad,and typical of ANC. you guys will go for anything you can get hey.sad. boring news and silly sterotypical people yet again thats my 5cents

      Shirley - 2012-05-04 15:47

      At last some sense!!!!!

  • Herbert - 2012-05-04 11:59

Is the problem that he watched porn or that he watched it during office hours?

  • Grace - 2012-05-04 12:02

Why do the ANC have a problem with him watching porn but no problem with some of their members who rape???

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:22

sado-macho? Do you even know what you are talking about?

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:53

kensong.ben. AHhhh SO I SEE YOU HAVE BENT OVER IN ZUMA"S SHOWER? DID HE USE YOU ASWELL?

      Matthew - 2012-05-04 13:07

It seems news24 has deemed my one response to much to read =/ but i will try again. man from DA,gets busted watching porn. ANC goes balistic and makes as big a thing as they can out of it. Mand from the ANC rapes a woman, eats his potatoe then goes and showers, becomes leader of the ANC and then our countries president. And the response? nothing, gets away scot-free! and is now our president on top of it. Such a load of political nonsense!!! ANC should grow up and get real (if they arnt too busy stealing the countries wealth from the people)

  • sika.ncamane - 2012-05-04 12:03

    Fire his perveted ass

      John - 2012-05-06 11:43

Fire his perverted ass? Who Showerhead? I agree, he flushes his used Condom(JUJU) down the drain and gets away with it and that was in wekking hours.

  • Zing - 2012-05-04 12:06

Punishment should fit the crime. If it was kiddie porn: hang the bastard. Any other porn: sexy girl in a red leather suit must give him lashes and call him a "bad boy"!

      Loo - 2012-05-04 12:10

      Agreed lol

  • Crracker - 2012-05-04 12:12

Some employees everywhere play electronic games on their machines or read sites like this News24 one during work hours and nobody complains of find fault with it. Or they eye with the same emotions as with the porn site the juicy little object moving about in the office and sitting with those deliciously crossed legs exposed. Grow up, dammit! The only wrong here was that it was office hours. Be consistent and stop all non-work activities on the machines then.

      TaniaSandraSteyn - 2012-05-05 03:10

Addicted to crack, Crracker? Describing women as juicy little objects? Think about what you are saying, please.

  • Ferdie Van Der Merwe - 2012-05-04 12:12

He will be sacked if found guilty. If ge was an ANC member, he would have been fine

      Shirley - 2012-05-04 14:15

Or he would of been inundated with requests of how to find the site and there would of been extended lunch breaks!

  • Tim - 2012-05-04 12:13

Oh my word! Our lily white ANC has cause to complain about this councillor watching porn yet chooses to ignore their deployees squandering millions of taxpayers money.

  • Sabelo - 2012-05-04 12:13

This is not news. Men watch porn off their office computers all the time. At least he isn't 'allegedly' raping females like the ANC president was 'accused' of... And now news24 playing into political games *SMH*

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:23

      Well said!

      Sabelo - 2012-05-04 13:47

      Thank you :-)

      Smile - 2012-05-04 14:26

      Pleasure :)

  • Jaydee - 2012-05-04 12:15

The DA cover up 1 little porn incident and the ANC goes ape. What about all the millions and millions of bribery money, fraud, misuse of our tax that the ANC covers up EVERYDAY !! The ANC are such hippocrates!!

  • mzeelie - 2012-05-04 12:16

This is quite funny. He could of done it after hours yes, but he represents DA and gives DA a bad name. We need more Woman in the DA then things like this won't happen. Hang the Man LOL

  • Shellerjc - 2012-05-04 12:16

aahhhh Come on - 70% of ppl do this at work

      sello.molekwa.1 - 2012-05-04 12:30

Yeah right, you wouldn't be saying this if it was a black ANC councillor watching pord during work hours.

      Smile - 2012-05-04 12:42

YEah? Why are you bringing in race? You are another racist ANC douche bag!

      AnthonyZA - 2012-05-04 13:43

So just because he is DA he is white? Wow. I could swear I have seen South Africans of all colours wearing DA t-shirts Sello.

  • Adrian - 2012-05-04 12:16

whats "kinky" porn as apposed to "just" porn ..... perhaps i am missing out on something! i am a da supporter and to be honest if it were a anc councilor i would think much the same "waste of media time - who cares"!

      Adrian - 2012-05-04 12:22

      Right on

  • adrian.marais - 2012-05-04 12:25

I also watch kinky porn. I even like to make it in my spare time. It Helps me control my cultural urges and not rape everything. FREE PORN for everybody... Over 18.

  • Louis - 2012-05-04 12:25

What a waste of space...give the guy a written warning and get on with it (if he is guilty) - this isn't newsworthy.

  • Phelamanga - 2012-05-04 12:27

Stupid, but not a national catastrophe! If this is the crime of the century then one can only wonder how to classify fraud, corruption, assassinations, neglect, the Arms Deal, e-tolling, Eastern Cape Education, Health and service delivery, JHB billing, and so on an on and on ad nauseum. This over-sexed enquirer has only done it to himself, and not the whole nation.
