2012-08-22 16:07

Johannesburg - Fifty-three bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R4m were confiscated from a house in Nyanga on Wednesday morning, Cape Town police said.

The dagga was found stashed inside a new RDP house in Boystown after police received a tip-off that it was being stored at the house, said Captain Frederick van Wyk.

"No arrests were made because there were no people present when the dagga was found," he said.

The house where the dagga was recovered has not yet been allocated to its owner.

Two vehicles which were parked outside the yard were also confiscated.

Police were investigating the vehicles and a case of possession of dagga.
