Dead baby found on train

Cape Town - The police were searching on Friday for the mother of a newborn baby found dead in a bag in a train carriage at Cape Town station on Thursday.

Spokesperson FC van Wyk said: "The police found the body of a newborn baby dumped inside a train carriage at the railway station on Thursday afternoon.

"The baby had been wrapped in a blue sheet and put in a black plastic bag.

The umbilical cord had still been attached to the baby."

Police were investigating a case of concealment of birth.

    Monumentally sad - surely in today's day and age there shouldn't be so many unwanted dumped babies? There are so many family planning options, etc, etc etc...........

    i give one guess as to what race the baby was ?......take the mother and torture her like they did 500 years ago.. these are sick THINGS,,,, not people they are THINGS.. and deserve a slow and painful punishment beyond what we can imagine,,
