Dead doctor found under bed

Pretoria - A 71-year-old retired cardiologist was found dead in his home early on Wednesday morning, Pretoria police said.
Colette Weilbach said Francois Steenkamp, who lived in a retirement home in Newlands, was found on the bedroom floor by his domestic worker around 08:30.
"The body was found tied-up under the bed with a head injury," said Weilbach.
She said there were no signs of forced entry but all the rooms had been ransacked.
"It is assumed that the incident occurred during the previous night. It is believed that the attackers fled with a white Toyota Tazz that belonged to the deceased."
The motive for the murder was not known and it was not clear what had been taken from the house.
A case of murder and house robbery was being investigated.
Steenkamp worked as a cardiologist at the Pretoria Heart Hospital before his retirement and leaves behind a daughter and three sons.
Weilbach said no stone would be left unturned to catch the killers.
